MetaFund Corporation ("MetaFund") is a non-depository "financial institution" principally and primarily involved in commercial economic development in Oklahoma. Consequently, it has neither accepted an application from nor ever made a loan to a "consumer" or "customer" (i.e. individuals acting for a family, consumer, personal, or household purpose) within the meaning of the applicable privacy regulations under the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. The term "consumer" includes the term "customer" but not vice versa. In the event, however, that it may have dealings with "consumers" or "customers," MetaFund's board of directors has adopted this policy.

METAFUND DOES NOT DISCLOSE NONPUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT CONSUMERS, CUSTOMERS OR FORMER CUSTOMERS TO ANYONE EXCEPT AS PERMITTED BY LAW.

Collecting and Using Information about Customers and Consumers

Should MetaFund later provide financial services to consumers, it must collect and use certain financial information the consumer provides. To protect the privacy of that information, MetaFund will enforce strict privacy procedures.

It will collect nonpublic personal information from various sources including:

-Information the consumer provides on applications, financial statements and other forms

-Information about consumers' transactions with MetaFund and its affiliates (it has no affiliates at this time)

-Information received from a consumer-reporting agency

MetaFund collects only the information needed to deliver financial services and products. Only authorized officers and employees have access to consumer and customer information.

Affiliates, Joint Marketing Agreements, and Service Providers

MetaFund has no affiliates and is not a party to any joint marketing agreements. Should it subsequently have affiliates, nonpublic personal information will be shared only with those which provide financial services to consumers and only for that purpose.

MetaFund would outsource data processing of consumer loan data to unaffiliated third parties. Any contracts with outsourcers would contain language prohibiting them from disclosing or using nonpublic personal information for any purpose other than providing services to MetaFund customers.

Account numbers and other access information and numbers are never disclosed to unaffiliated third parties for use in their telemarketing, direct mail and other marketing through electronic mail to customers. MetaFund may provide such information to its agents and service providers solely for the purpose of marketing its products and services.

MetaFund's Web Site

When a consumer visits http://www.MetaFund.org, s/he should feel secure that MetaFund is respecting his/her privacy. The only private information gathered is the information the consumer chooses to provide such as feedback, inquiries, or completion of a form. MetaFund does not disclose such information as stated above. MetaFund may use "cookies" on 
some pages of its website to provide better service when the consumer visits again. A "cookie" is a small element of data that a web site can send to a browser, which may store it in the consumer's computer's system. Data collected from "cookies" helps MetaFund determine how many people visit certain pages. This permits updating and improvement of  MetaFund's web site design and content. If the consumer prefers, s/he may set the browsers so that a notice appears before a "cookie" is accepted.

MetaFund does not have a secure e-mail system for the general public. Any e-mail to MetaFund, then, would generally not be secure.

Parental consent is required for children under 12 to provide personally identifiable information via MetaFund's web site.

Accurate Information

Every effort is made to ensure that MetaFund's records about consumers and customers are complete and correct. If a customer detects a mistake in any statement or other communication from MetaFund, please contact it as soon as  possible.
