The Colcord Building was completed in 1910 as a 12-story commercial office building; it was the first skyscraper in Oklahoma City. Every convenience and luxury of the time was incorporated into the construction. This gorgeous downtown landmark has been converted into an elegant boutique hotel. The original black and white marble continues to adorn the columns and walls of the main lobby, the original nickel and bronze letter box and elevator doors gleam, and an ornamental plaster ceiling crowns the space. The Colcord Hotel was listed on the National Register of Historical Places in 1976. For more information, please visit www.colcordhotel.com.
