Oklahoma State Department of Health & Maycomb Capital Community Outcome Fund

Community Health Workers (CHWs) serve as important connectors to health and social services with the goal of addressing individual health-related needs and providing care navigation. More than 570 studies since 1964 have provided a solid foundation of evidence supporting the impact of CHWs on improved health outcomes.

In March 2024, the Oklahoma State Department of Health entered a Pay for Success contract with the Oklahoma Impact Investing Collaborative to utilize funding from the Collaborative and the Community Outcomes Fund at Maycomb Capital for 14 CHWs and one supervisor serving 10 public health districts throughout rural Oklahoma.

For more information, please see our press release.

The CHW program has proven to be a valuable resource for the communities we serve. We look forward to continuing to help Oklahomans in a meaningful way through this collaborative effort. We anticipate the CHW program will continue to help us lead Oklahoma to prosperity through health.
