Title: Credit Analyst

Reporting: The position will report to the Chief Community Investment Officer

Status: Full-time; exempt

Location: Oklahoma

Responsibilities

  1. Loan Underwriting and Closing

    • Primary responsible for the organization, project analysis, underwriting and preparation activities in support of loan origination and closing including the preparation of loan documents

    • Conduct due diligence of projects and borrowers with support from the Chief Risk Officer

    • Prepare clear, accurate, well-organized written and financial reports, including credit memoranda for each project

    • Provide technical assistance to borrowers in structuring their financing on an as-needed basis

  2. Business Development

    • Help strengthen rapport and communications between MetaFund and potential borrowers

    • Support Business Development team in managing collaborations with community development entities and lending affiliates

    • Coordinate other Business Development activities with the Chief Community Investment Officer

  3. General

    • Resolve conflicts through negotiation, effectively balancing borrower needs with risk mitigation for MetaFund

    • Create periodic reports for senior management and board of directors

    • Work effectively in a team environment and actively participate in joint problem solving; willingly cooperate with co-workers

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Accounting, finance or equivalent certification or undergraduate degree preferred

  • Demonstrated relevant finance or lending experience is a plus

  • Demonstrated ability to prepare clear, accurate, well-organized written and financial reports

  • Superior financial analysis and credit evaluation skills is a plus

  • Capacity to prioritize multiple tasks to meet customer deadlines while ensuring credit integrity

  • Commitment to community development, low-income communities, and strong work ethic

  • Self-starter, ability to work independently and as well as collaboratively in a small team

Compensation and Benefits: $40,000 - $55,000

  • Incentive bonus opportunity based on individual and MetaFund performance
