MetaFund Hires Adams as Community Investment Officer

OKLAHOMA CITY — MetaFund, a nonprofit Community Development Financial Institution based in Oklahoma City, is proud to announce that Maurianna Adams has joined their team. Adams fills the newly created position of Chief Community Investment Officer working to expand the group's efforts to equitably invest in creative solutions for under-resourced communities.

Adams brings more than a decade of public service experience focused on community development, community wealth building and inclusive economies to the position. As Progress OKC’s Executive Director, she provided strategic direction, program development and fundraising expertise to expand the community development corporation’s impact in areas of neighborhood revitalization, small business development and workforce initiatives. Adams holds a master’s degree in public administration and continues to work in service to resilient communities through research, policy, programming, cultural best practices and public-private partnerships.

She currently serves on various boards and committees including the City of Oklahoma City - Covid-19 Assistance Program For 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organizations, City of Oklahoma City - Small Business Continuity Program, Northeast OKC Renaissance, Inc., Oklahoma City Human Rights Commission Task Force and Urban Land Institute of Oklahoma.
