Title: Credit Analysis Manager
Reporting: The position will report administratively to MetaFund’s President, but will support the various business development officers
Status: Full-time; exempt
Location: Oklahoma
Responsibilities
Loan Underwriting and Closing
Primary responsibility for the organization is to perform project analysis, underwriting and coordinate document preparation in support of loan origination and closing
Conduct detailed due diligence of projects and borrowers in conjunction with business development officer and with support from the Chief Risk Officer
Develop relationship with appropriate personnel of borrowers to coordinate ongoing data collection
Prepare financial analysis and credit memoranda for each project
Assist and provide insight to business development officer in structuring financing to find solutions which meet borrower needs while limiting excess risk to MetaFund
Risk & Portfolio Management
Review and document ongoing portfolio risk through analysis of financial statements and other metrics
Assist with ongoing credit reporting for portfolio
Assist with analysis and underwriting of workout situations or loan modifications as-needed
General
Gain an understanding of social impact investing and all lending programs of MetaFund
Work effectively in a team environment and coordinate activities with all constituencies
Come to meetings prepared, honor work commitments, meet deadlines
Honor the private and confidential matters of customers and MetaFund
Opportunity to advance into a senior credit manager or officer role
Qualifications and Requirements
Accounting, business or law degree with adequate accounting courses required
Demonstrated relevant finance, lending, banking, or credit analysis experience a plus
Experience in small business lending, government lending programs or other credit experience a plus
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficiency with use of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel, Word and analytical analysis tools
Superior financial analysis and developing credit evaluation skills
Capacity to prioritize multiple tasks to meet customer deadlines while ensuring credit integrity
Commitment to community development, low-income communities, and strong work ethic
Self-starter, ability to work independently and as well as collaboratively in a small team
