Austin brings extensive experience in nonprofit development, public administration, and strategic operations to his roles as a Business Development Officer for the Oklahoma Impact Investing Collaborative (Collaborative), a subsidiary of MetaFund.

Austin previously served in executive leadership roles at Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County, where he led development and fundraising efforts for a multimillion-dollar grant portfolio. His experience also includes executive leadership at the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, where he led public affairs, communications, and community engagement efforts across Oklahoma. He has managed enterprise-scale projects spanning real estate operations, IT modernization, and service delivery transformation. Austin worked in staff positions for both chambers of the Oklahoma Legislature prior to working in the executive branch of state government, providing him with unique perspective on the intersection of public policy, philanthropy, and community impact.

Austin holds a Master of Public Administration and a bachelor’s degree in applied economics from the University of Central Oklahoma. He is a Certified Public Manager and graduate of the Executive Development Program for State Officials. He and his wife live in Edmond.
