In his role as the New Markets Tax Credits Program Manager, Evan is responsible for sourcing high-impact investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and structuring New Markets Tax Credits transactions that bring together mission-aligned project sponsors and investors to create social good.

Prior to joining MetaFund, Evan was a senior consultant in Ernst & Young LLP’s Economic Development Advisory Services practice where he served as a strategist for clients that included state and local governments, development authorities, entrepreneur support organizations and universities. Evan served as the team's subject matter expert on integrating entrepreneur ecosystem building, small business support, and tech-based economic development into client strategies. Across this and previous roles, Evan has been in the economic development space for over 8 years. 

Evan holds the Entrepreneurship Development Professional (EDP) certification from the International Economic Development Council, the world's largest association for economic development professionals. The EDP credential recognizes a demonstrated understanding and track record of building a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem. Currently, about 150 hold this certification nationally. 

Evan has previously served as a Board member and as Board Chair for Loveworks Leadership in Norman, OK and currently serves on the Finance Committee and as an active volunteer with RestoreOKC in Oklahoma City, OK. Evan resides in uptown Oklahoma City with his wife Katie. They enjoy traveling, dreaming up new home renovation projects, exploring OKC’s food and beverage scene, and attending every home football game at the University of Oklahoma.
