Sarah Reed, CPA
Sarah Reed serves as President and CEO of MetaFund, where she leads the organization’s strategic direction and mission to increase capital flow to underinvested urban and rural communities. Since joining MetaFund in 2014, Sarah has held key leadership roles including Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, bringing over two decades of expertise in finance and accounting.
A Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Sarah holds both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Accountancy from Oklahoma State University. Her professional background spans auditing, financial reporting, portfolio servicing, regulatory compliance, and strategic planning.
Before joining MetaFund, Sarah spent 11 years at KPMG LLP in Oklahoma City, where she served as Senior Audit Manager. Her audit work focused on not-for-profit, governmental, and public sector entities, as well as financial services and insurance. She also led campus recruiting efforts for Oklahoma State University and coordinated community involvement initiatives for the Oklahoma City office.
Sarah is an active member of the AICPA, OSCPA, Select Oklahoma, CDVCA, and Opportunity Finance Network (OFN). She lives in Edmond, Oklahoma, with her husband and two children. Outside of work, she enjoys sports, participating in her children’s school activities, spending time with family, and off-road Jeeping adventures.
